The Archaeological Museum “Delle Fonti” collects artefacts from a series of different epochs, from the Prehistorical age to the modern age coming from both systematic archaeological investigations and casual findings in the territory.
The collection of artefacts, the explanatory tools and a multimedia display which is simple and intuitive narrate the long history of Acquaviva and its landscape, a true time travel stretching from the Prehistorical age through the Peucetia age, the roman epoch and the middle ages up to nowadays.
The Museum is hosted in the historical Palazzo De Mari, in the centre of di Acquaviva delle Fonti (Ba), in the piazza dei Martiri.
